Project Manager in a large-scale European Union co-funded project entitled "InterRegional Cultural HERitage Management E-System", with an approved budget over a million euros. Responsibilities involve the overall organisation of the project and co-ordination among the involved partners, ensuring that tasks are fulfilled according to the scheduled timeframe, the foreseen resources and the division of responsibilities among partners.
Previously participated in a European Union funded project entitled "Training and Research Involving Polymer Optical Devices", in which I have contributed towards work on polymer fibre grating UV fabrication and testing. My knowledge includes inscription and micro-machining using femtosecond laser systems, as well as polymer optical device fabrication and characterisation, mostly focused on the optical sensing technology.
